Easter!
This year we went to an Easter egg hunt organized by an "Anglophone" parenting group in Paris. It was great. Everyone brought way too many eggs and all the kids left with full baskets. Patrick got the hang of it in about 2 seconds.

2009
I am trying out the blog again. I've given up on Facebook (the new format is unbearable). Since we live so far away from family and friends blah-blah-blah and people are always asking for photos of Patrick (but not anyone else in the family, I've noticed), I am trying again. And I like this new slideshow option where you can get tons of photos into one post. Now all I need to do is find a way to make it a routine. Otherwise, forget it.
Since Christmas, I am the proud owner of a fabulous iphone which is just that - except for the camera, which is pretty crappy. All these photos are taken with my iphone, not because I am obsessed with it but because I can no longer be bothered to carry around the digital camera. We'll have to change that routine too.
These pictures are mainly from weekend outings in Paris from late Feb through early April. My favorite is the one with the straw - the first time Patrick tried a straw despite several offers by cafe owners. Not only is it cute but once he sucked up all the water, he immediately opened his big mouth to start talking again and all the water fell out.

More Spring

Some more Spring shots - Parc des Buttes Chaumont (a bit off the path but arguably the nicest park in Paris)

...and we're back!

After a 9 month hiatus the Patrick blog is back in action. Yesterday it was about 60F/15C in Paris and Parc Monceau was packed. Patrick walked the entire park with his mini-Maclaren and ended the day with a ride on the Carousel.

St Patrick's Day

We spent it in Charles de Gaulle airport, flying to Rome. The "Kiss me, I'm Irish" t-shirt didn't get much attention unfortunately in France or Italy. We're working on the binki rash.
OK, time to update the blog.....

There has basically been no winter in Europe this year, so we've been going to playgrounds since February....sometimes with buddy Ben Gillett...and if it rains there a few things to play with at home too.
